Building the giffgaff online community

The Challenge

The mobile phone company giffgaff has a unique business model based on their popular and vibrant online community. Having refreshed and rebranded their website, the all important online forum needed to follow suit with a new community landing page.

What we did

The community landing page has been designed to showcase great content from different parts of the online forum. It particularly aims to give new users a snapshot of what’s going on and inspire them to get involved.

We have created a super simple and easy-to-edit content management system for community managers. Content such as ideas statistics are updated automatically based on real-time data from the community.

We have also integrated a new, user-friendly events calendar. It can be updated effortlessly by community managers, then updated on the community automatically and in an instant.
